Irish music featured in 67th Ghent Festival
The Flanders Festival Ghent returns for its 67th edition celebrating music along the borders
Along the Borders
‘Along the Borders’ is a colourful celebration of cultural diversity from 10-26 September in Ghent, Belgium.
The festival will have music from all over Europe, from the Baltic states with the Estonian Vox Clamantis, Polish singer Jakub Józef Orliński, and they will host Odessa Classics, the Ukrainian festival that has lived a nomadic existence since the outbreak of war.
On the 16 September, the festival will have a 'Celtic' focus, and star violinist Daniel Hope with his ensemble AIR will entertain the audience with music inspired by Irish myths and culture.
