Bloomsday on film
Watch our three short films, produced in collaboration with the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI), each exploring and echoing the words of Ulysses.
Ulysses captures Dublin on a single day in 1904 and our films showcase the continuing influence of Joyce’s work by featuring international contributors speaking lines from Ulysses in multiple languages.
Opening Ulysses
This short film, created in collaboration with 40 Irish Embassies and Consulates worldwide, invites global audiences to engage with Ulysses through a playful, virtuosic reimagining of its opening line: "Stately, plump Buck Mulligan came from the stairhead, bearing a bowl of lather on which a mirror and a razor lay crossed."
Hold To The Now
