St. Patrick’s Day 2024
Each year, we celebrate St Patrick’s Day, Ireland’s national day, on 17 March.
St. Patrick’s Day has become a true global celebration, including here in Finland, with many community events and initiatives taking place across the country.
There are Irish sessions in Helsinki, storytelling in Oulu, the annual Irish festival in Salo and a new event in Tampere this year where the central library will play host to an array of Irish activities for the whole family.

Tampere

Oulu
St. Patrick’s Day in Oulu with storytelling and traditional Irish Music.
Tales & Tarinat is a new series of storytelling events hosted by Irish storyteller and influencer Aaron Gorman ( @irishinfinland ) at Hemingways Bar and Cafe. These multilingual events offer a variety of stories from Ireland, Finland and the world. Everyone is welcome to enjoy as a listener or to tell any kind of story or experience. Welcome to St.Michael Irish pub on St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate with a live traditional Irish music session. Dress in Green if you like to celebrate the festivities of St. Patrick.
