Visiting Bordeaux for the Rugby World Cup

Getting there
Bordeaux airport has direct connections to Cork and Dublin, as well as various cities across the UK. You can travel from the airport into the centre of Bordeaux by shuttle or by Tram A. The shuttle will bring you directly to the train station; tickets can be bought online or from the driver, and more information can be found here. Tram A serves a number of stops within the city centre, and tickets can be bought at the platform.
If you’re arriving by train, Gare St Jean is close to the centre and served by Trams C and D.
Getting to the match
The closest tram stop to the stadium is Parc des Expositions on Tram C. This line also directly serves Gare St Jean and the central Quinconces stop.

Rugby Village
The rugby village (fan zone) will be at Parc des Sports Saint Michel. The closest tram stop is Saint Michel, which is served by trams C and D. The rugby village will feature a large screen, local catering, and entertainment and activities. During the group stages, the rugby village will be open from 2pm at weekends.
