Passports
The fastest and cheapest way to get your first Irish passport or renew your passport is to apply online.

Travel and health advice
Since March 6 2022, international travellers to Ireland are no longer required to show proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative PCR test upon arrival.
There is no longer a requirement to complete a COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form for travel to Ireland.
There are no post-arrival testing or quarantine requirements for travellers to Ireland.
Any individual that develops COVID-19 symptoms while in Ireland should follow the HSE guidance in relation to isolation and undertaking antigen or PCR testing as appropriate.
While COVID-19 travel restrictions on entry to Ireland have been removed, other EU and non-EU countries may still have restrictions in place. Irish citizens can find information on travel advice by country on the following DFA webpage.
