Irish Aid’s global citizenship education aims to increase awareness and understanding of global development issues among the Irish public.
Our funding supports the implementation of the Irish Aid global citizenship education strategy 2021-2025.

36 organisations have been granted Irish Aid funding through the 2024 Global Citizenship Education grant round. This funding is a mixture of new projects approved in 2024, plus Year 2 funding for projects approved in 2023 and Year 3 funding for projects approved in 2023. A total of €2,193,950 in funding was approved for 2024, with an additional €486,215 approved for 2025 and €336,100 approved for 2026.
